The French Pharmacist
in Kansas City
Certified Aromatherapist and Environmental Health Specialist
Who am I?
I was born and raised in France. I studied Pharmacy in Lyon and specialized in Clinical Pharmacokinetics. I spent the first years of my professional career in the Pharmaceutical Industry working in Drug Clinical development. But we started an expat life and we have lived in various countries: Morocco, Taiwan and in the USA since 2008. After California, we moved to the Kansas City Metro, 10 years ago.
In 2015, I trained in aromatherapy and became a Certified Aromatherapist. I love to use essential oils in my daily life and to improve my condition when I feel stressed, I can't sleep, I feel sick or when I have pain (headache or muscle pain). Essential oils help me every day. I'm a member of the NAHA (National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy)
Coming from France to the US, I wanted to find healthy food and I realized it was not so easy. So I made some researches and I finally decided to write a book in French about the American food system. This book helps French expatriates to find healthy options in American supermarkets.
My growing interest in integrative medicine led me to Environmental Health. I took a Certificate course in Environmental Health. I was totally stunned to learn how our environment can impact our health. I understood that taking small steps to change the interactions of our environment was now necessary to stay healthy as long as possible. And when chronic diseases strike us, it becomes necessary to reduce this impact. Controlling what we can control, such as cosmetics, the air in our interior, our food, become necessary to improve our health and give us all our chances along with the treatments prescribed by the doctor.
